NOBLE SPEAKS ON RICE FUTURE

Mark Noble spoke with Laura Woods of Talksport about Declan Rice’s hopes come the end of the season. Here is what he had to say.

“If you see Declan 1st hand at training every day and see what he does you will appreciate how good he is”

“I know I go back to Stu (Stuart Pearce) he has seen it 1st hand”

“He can even get better, he can improve on his game, whether that’s scoring goals or assists, he can learn, that’s the thing with him, he keeps learning, he showed everyone (v Liverpool) what levels he can go to. He was world class that night.”

Noble Was Pressed On Rice’s Future

“When you sign players like Paqueta and Scamacca there is hope you can keep hold of your best players”

Contract

“He has 2 years left on his contract, we’d all hope we can keep hold of him but I think he will be sought after by some of the top clubs in this country and the world.”

“You can see with Dec he loves his football, I don’t think he’s fussed about money”

World Cup Focus

“He wants to be successful, it was always on his mind to worry about the World Cup and look forward to that and play well there”

Rumours

Noble added

“It will be a bit strange come the end of the season , there will always be rumours about Dec.

Honesty Is key

“I’ve always said to myself in this role I’m going to take up , honesty is key, as long as your honest and you say what you believe, and your honest with players, they can never go, ‘he lied to me and went behind my back’

Noble was talking to Talksport about his Autobiography Boleyn Boy which will be released tomorrow.
