Hammers going back to Brazil for Jan transfer targets

With just about ten weeks until the January transfer window opens, the buzz around potential signings is growing. According to recent reports, West Ham has a bit of financial flexibility and is looking to make moves in Brazil again.

Leo Ortiz: A Center-Back Target
One player of interest is Leo Ortiz, a center-back from Flamengo. The 28-year-old has been linked to West Ham previously, and it seems the club is considering him again. Priced at around €9 million, Ortiz brings considerable experience and could solidify our defense, particularly if we shift to a back three.

Rayan: The Young Winger
We’ve also been linked with Rayan, a teenage winger from Vasco da Gama. The 18-year-old has caught the eye of several Premier League clubs and is reportedly valued at around £8 million. With his contract nearing its end, this could be a prime opportunity for West Ham to strike a deal, especially given our focus on nurturing young talent.
