WEST HAM STAR TO LEAVE IN JANUARY?

Mr Reliable Craig Dawson looks set to leave West Ham in the January window after failing to secure a move away from the club in the summer window.

Dawson’s family live in Cheshire and reports are suggesting Craig wants his commute time to be alot less allowing him more family time and who can really argue with that.

The player was close to a deadline day move away from West Ham with Wolves and Aston Villa willing to pay a nice fee for the defender but any deal collapsed at the 11th hour.

Dawson finds himself dropping down the pecking order behind Fit again Nayef Aguerd, Kurt Zouma, Angelo Ogbonna and even Thilo Kehrer.

Ballon’ Dawson (as West Ham fans know him as) has become a cult hero at the club after signing originally on loan from Watford. And at the time most West Ham fans felt underwhelmed by the signing. But he stepped into with no fear and was pivotal to West Ham’s recent success in the Premier League and Europe.

He has struggled for game time this season and has only made two Premier League starts this term.

With Dawson’s contract set to expire in the summer it looks likely that Moyes will let the defender leave in January.

Dawson who has made 80 appearances for the club in all competitions has also scored nine goals and two assists.

If Craig Dawson leaves he will go down as one of the most underrated players in West Ham’s history.
