Sevilla believe the time has come for them to part ways with Youssef En-Nesyri and he would also not be against making a move elsewhere in January.
En-Nesyri has looked a shadow of his former self.
During the 2020-21 campaign, the Morocco International scored 24 goals in all competitions for Sevilla, contributing 18 in La Liga and six in the Champions League.
En-Nesyri established a reputation as one of the most well-rounded strikers in the Spanish top flight, attracting plenty of interest from clubs across Europe, and of course West Ham.
After suffering from a hamstring injury in November 2021, the striker has struggled to produce the same level of form he had the previous season.
The former Sevilla and current Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui dropped En-Nesyri in a bid to find goals. And his International boss also dropped the star in a clash v Paraguay.
The star was subject to many bids by David Moyes who earmarked the striker as his number one target, but was unsuccessful in bringing the player to the London Stadium.
The 25 year old has travelled to Qatar with the Morocco squad and could find the tournament an opportunity to put himself in the shopping window.
I’m not so sure this is a realistic option for West Ham and Moyes who will be looking to get some form from his current main striker Gianluca Scamacca.
