WOLVES FAIL IN BID FOR DAWSON

David Moyes today revealed that West Ham did receive an offer for Craig Dawson from Wolverhampton Wanderers but have not accepted it.

Offer Rejected

The 32 year old defender is keen to move further up north to be close to his family, and was close to a move to the midlands club on deadline day in the summer before the deal was pulled at the last minute by West Ham.

After two fantastic seasons at the London Stadium, many had thought this season would prove difficult for Craig to break into the team after summer signing Nayef Aguerd was brought in to play alongside Zouma.

Down The Pecking Order

However injuries to both stars has thrown Dawson right back into he fold.

His cult hero performances have earned him the nickname Ballon’ Dawson with the West Ham faithful and he is still currently an important part of the Moyes set up.

Moyes Speaks Out

During the Pre Match Press Conference Moyes confirmed the offer

“We’ve had an offer from Wolves, we’ve not accepted it and that’s as much as I can tell you,”
