The 32 year old defender has been a Cambridge Untied player since 2013 having transferred from Luton Town and has gone on to make over 350 appearances for The U’s.

Many West Ham players will not feature in this game due to their International commitments as the World Cup 2022 in Qatar will be in full flow, however still expect a strong team to feature as it presents a good outing to maintain fitness levels over the break.

Players such as Scamacca & Emerson may feature as Italy did not qualify for the World Cup, Cornet may also feature due to Ivory Coast not qualifying for the tournament. The 2 Czech boys Soucek & Coufal may also feature.

Two players that may be 50/50 for this fixture could be Lanzini & Fornals as they have been in and out of the national squad over the last few seasons but due to lack of game time for West Ham they may struggle to get the final call up for the worlds most “prestigious” tournament
