WEST HAM SIGN BELGIUM INTERNATIONAL

West Ham Women today announced the signing of Belgium International Amber Tysiak.

Amber joins from Oud-Heverlee Leuven (Belgium) and will wear the number 5 shirt.

Amber spoke of her move saying

“I’m very excited to sign for West Ham United, This is a beautiful Club with a rich history and I’m very happy to be here. I’ve been doing my research and I know West Ham is a historical, hard-working side that has always had players who work tirelessly for the badge”

She Added

“I’ve watched the team play a few times and I can see a group of players who work well together, and fight for the cause together. They always give 100 per cent in every game and I’m looking forward to being a part of that.”

The signing is West ham women’s manager Paul Konchesky’s first of the January window.

Koncesky told WHUFC.com

“Everyone at West Ham United is delighted that Amber has joined the team,” Konchesky said. “Amber is a composed centre-back, who plays with a maturity beyond her years, and has shown her quality at the highest level for both club and country. 

“We’re thrilled to add another talented, young player to our squad at West Ham in Amber and I’m looking forward to working with her for the rest of the season and beyond.”
