Back in August 2022 West Ham defender Arthur Masuaku signed for Turkish side Besiktas on a season long loan with an option to buy.
After being told by David Moyes he was surplus to requirements the Democratic Republic Of Congo international was now looking for a new adventure.
Criticism By Fans
“King Arthur” (As West Ham fans know him) had been subject to much criticism over the last few years and it looks like the criticism did not stop there.
The ex West Bromwich Albion coach Valerien Ismael who was in charge of Besiktas at the time was responsible for bringing Arthur to Turkey, was replaced by Ex Turkey manager Senol Gunes 2 weeks ago.
Boss Not Happy
According to several reports in Turkey Gunes has not been impressed with Masuaku and is already eyeing up a replacement in Ridvan Yilmaz of Rangers who is reportedly not happy at the Glasgow club.
Injury To Hamper Move
To make matters worse for the player he picked up an ankle fracture over the weekend which could impact any future moves.
Surplus to requirements at his parent and loan club does not bode well for the full back.
