SCAMACCA PULLS OUT OF ITALIAN SQUAD

Gianluca Scamacca has pulled out of the Italian squad with an injury

With Emerson already having withdraw from the Azzurri with his broken nose (despite appearing on the bench for the 2-0 defeat to Leicester City on Saturday), it appears West Ham’s Number 7 has also pulled out for Italy’s friendlies against Albania and Austria. According to a report in TMW, the strikers has a ‘small physical issue’ which has meant he’s returned to East London for the World Cup break and will use the break to reach full fitness for the Hammers.

With Scamacca, Emerson, Cornet and Zouma all currently on the injury list – that’s around £95m currently on the injury table!

Injuries at any time are not good – however with the World Cup break in the Premier League, they appear to have come at an advantageous time for the Irons. Let’s hope we can get them all back fully fit for the Boxing Day game against the Gunners at the Emirates!
