PORTUGAL INTERNATIONAL ON WEST HAM’S RADAR

We did warn you it’s Transfer season and the rumours are in full flow. So let’s get going again.

West Ham  are reportedly interested in signing Portuguese left-back Raphael Guerreiro from Borussia Dortmund.

According to a report from the French media, West Ham are looking to sign the Portuguese international defender Raphael Guerreiro in the January transfer window.

End Of Contract

Guerreiro’s Borussia Dortmund contract is expiring in the summer, so a cut-price winter deal

Due to his contract expiring in the summer he will be able to negotiate pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs from January 1.

But will West Ham be able to secure an agreement with the player in January

West Ham could sign the Portuguese international defender for a decent fee. Which would allow Dortmund to recoup some cash in January for the player, instead of losing him for free in the summer.

World Cup Duty

Guerreiro is currently away with his country on international duty at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar and any decision regarding his future is expected to be made after the World Cup.

Guerreiro has been a fantastic player for Dortmund, and he could prove to be a quality addition to West Ham’s defence.

Aaron Cresswell is currently our first-choice left-back, but questions have been asked on his ability at going forward and getting back and that’s exactly what Guerreiro can do to a high standard.#
