Many a West Ham fan have accused David Moyes of not managing Said Benrahma well.
Benrahma did not start the game v Brentford but did come on to score a fantastic long distance effort which was the only goal of the game that made West Ham advance to the fourth round of the FA Cup.
This was the third time in a row that Benrahma did not start a game.
Harsh on Said?
He personally is having a good season scoring six goals, with two assists to his name from the 25 games he has been involved in this season.
And now maybe David Moyes has taken notice of the Algerian Wizard speaking highly of the winger in his post match press conference saying
“Saïd could have easily played today, but we just changed a little bit of the system to see if we could find something.
And he has done really well when he has come off the bench, and made an impact. You need impact substitutes who can make the difference and add a little bit more and he’s done that today.
He’s scored a great goal and I’m really pleased for him because he has had moments this season when he’s been needed by us and other moments when he could have done better and he’s got to be a team player and feed his teammates opportunities to score.”
