MOYES ISSUES BIG TEAM NEWS UPDATE AHEAD OF FCSB GAME

David Moyes has hinted that he will be playing some youth players alongside some experienced players in the final group stages game against FCSB on Thursday evening.

West Ham have already qualified for the last 16 as group winners with 5 wins from 5 and are aiming to make it 6 from 6. And to achieve that it looks like Moyes will be relying on the young academy starts of the future. Moyes told the West Ham media team

“We’re not full of young players but there are a couple of young players that are going to start tomorrow night. We’re going to give them an opportunity, and maybe some of the others will get an opportunity as well, because in some of the other games we weren’t able to do so”

Some of the academy players have featured in our senior teams matchday squads, Freddie Potts & Kennan Forson sat on the bench for the 1-0 victory over Silkeborg whilst Regan Clayton, Harrison Ashby (just back from injury) & Oliver Scarles have featured in matchday squads through this seasons European adventure
