Is the Paqueta hate really justified? I dont think so.

Not really understanding all the hate flying around about Lucas Paquetá leaving. Has he been poor recently? Yeah, absolutely. But let’s not pretend he hasn’t given us some brilliant memories along the way.

It’s been obvious for a while that the betting investigation has taken a massive toll on him mentally. He hasn’t looked happy, he hasn’t looked free, and you can see the weight he’s been carrying every time he steps on the pitch. That kind of thing affects anyone, footballer or not.

If this move brings in good money and lets us bring in players who genuinely want to be here, fight for the badge, and push us forward, then I’m all for it. No hard feelings, just time for everyone to move on.
