Serie A side Torino brought Nikola Vlasic to the club on loan with an option to buy from West Ham in the summer.
Vlasic signed for West Ham for a fee expected to be around £28m in the summer of 2021.
He played 32 times for the club scoring 1 goal and providing 2 assists. He never really made the impact that Moyes or West Ham fans expected.
World Cup
With Croatia qualifying for the world cup and Vlasic struggling for game time, it was no surprise he moved on with Torino in the summer.
Vlasic has hit the ground running at his new club scoring four goals and providing two assists in 14 Serie A games.
Proving His Worth
But Torino President remained COY on the prospect of signing Vlasic permanently. He told Gazetta
“Vlasic is strong and is doing really well”
“Will we sign him permanently ? Lets see, the season is long and at the moment, there are no hypotheses about the market, We’ve only played 14 games, its too early”.
No Torino player has created more goal scoring opportunities than the Croatian international who is also topping the charts for the most touches in the opposition box.
Torino currently sit 9th in the Serie A table with 20 points.
