INJURY CONCERN FOR TRIO

Gianluca Scamacca, Manuel Lanzini and Alphonse Areola were all missing from the West Ham squad that advanced to the fourth round of the FA Cup after beating Brentford 1-0 on Saturday evening.

Injury Concern?

And quickly fans were starting to panic fearing the worst, however West Ham manager has explained why the trio were missing from the match day squad.

After the win Moyes said to Football London

“Scamacca just felt his knee since after the [Leeds] game, Areola was playing and the last kick of training yesterday he just felt something at the top of his hip and Lanzini felt a tight groin so that was difficult.”

”I don’t think any of them are too bad. Gianluca we don’t think is too bad, we are hoping it’s not too bad, he was going for a scan. Phonse [Areola] – I didn’t even see it happening, I thought we were finished but he got it in his last kick. Manu, we think should be okay.”

Precautionary ?

West Ham fans will be hoping the trio will be fit ahead of the huge Premier League game against Wolves at Molineux next Saturday
