CHAMPIONSHIP STAR ON WEST HAM’S RADAR

David Moyes loves shopping around in the lower leagues, and this does not look likely to stop with West Ham readying a move for Coventry City’s striker Viktor Gyokeres.

According to reports Everton, Crystal Palace and Southampton are among the other clubs looking to make a move for the 24-year-old Sweden striker.

Coventry City are keen to keep the striker at the club and are willing to offer him a new lucrative long term deal to stay at the championship side to fend off interest from the Premier League.

Hi contract currently expires in the summer of 2024 so if he was to leave you could imagine City are looking at raising the price of their asset

Gyokeres could be the most in-demand striker in the Championship at the moment, with the Sweden international scoring notching nine goals so far this season.

Furthermore, at 24, he still has plenty of time to develop into a Premier League standard player.

This is will be an interesting story to follow.
