CHAMPIONSHIP STAR LINKED TO WEST HAM AGAIN

West Ham could be lining up another move for Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Brereton Diaz.

David Moyes has previously kept tabs on the Chile International striker and is keen to bring him to the club potentially as soon as January.

Scout Keeping Tabs On Diaz

According to reports some West Ham scouts were present at the weekends Blackburn Rovers 1 nil win over Huddersfield Town where Diaz scored the winning goal to take his seasons tally up to 9 continuing his excellent form last season.

While he is predominantly a centre-forward, he is extremely versatile playing over 80 games as a winger during his career (43 on the right, 39 on the left).

His former manager Tony Mowbray dubbed the striker “extraordinary” whilst FourFourTwo magazine describing him as a “superstar”.

West Ham Face A Battle

West Ham and a whole host of clubs throughout Europe were keen on Diaz’s signature in the summer. Out of Contract in the summer of 2023, Diaz can discuss a pre contract agreement but only with foreign clubs. If West Ham were to make a move , they would have to stump up enough to tempt Blackburn to sell considering they are pushing for promotion to the Premier League and would have to way up the financial gains if they were to succeed.

This could a tough deal to get over the line but if Moyes wants his man, he should get his man
