ANTONIO TO WOLVES? DONT BE SILLY!

David Moyes today confirmed that West Ham have had no offer for striker Michail Antonio.

He’s Not Leaving

West Ham’s all time Premier League Goal scorer was earlier in the week linked to alleged move to Premier League rivals Wolves.

The 32 year old has struggled for a starting position this season and has only scored 2 goals in 17 premier league appearances so far this season. And scored 5 in all competitions. At the same stage last year he had 7 goals.

With West Ham struggling in front of goal, many West Ham fans thought letting Antonio move for a reasonable fee would of been a god idea but only if we brought in cover.

And with the failed move for Moroccan international Youseff En-Nesyri, Moyes confirmed in the pre match Press conference that Antonio would not be leaving.

Moyes Said

“I don’t know where that’s come from. He’s got a couple of years on his contract so he will be staying for a while.”

I don’t believe Selling Antonio to our ‘relegation’ rivals would of made great business for the club, however we do have a history of suspect deals.
